Happy Birthday to my baby sister, Megan!! It’s still a crazy thing to see you grow a pinch taller than me and see you never grow out of your pjs phase. You are definitely a special one and probably one of the most awkward people I know, but love you either way. Happy Birthday Megan!!

Taken in Chicago, IL
I had the privilege of shooting the Bay Area Flash Mob at Market Street, Dolores Park, & the Castro while they performed their tribute to Madonna during Fleet Week.
It was my first time seeing and shooting a flashmob. It was definitely a fun experience. I’ll have to admit, I was pretty tempted to jump in a few times! That would’ve been bad. Thanks Julien for the opportunity. I still have Madonnna stuck in my head!

Special thanks to Justin, Jr, & Ferd.
Laura and Colin were witnesses for Kate & William’s wedding (previous post). While there was some downtime, I was able to capture a few shots of the beautiful engaged couple.

Bday Reflections: You are never as young as you are Right Now.
(2/2)
Since my turning of age, a lot has changed and a few wonderful surprises have come my way. Some greater than expected! I was shooting (pun intended) to have my site up by now, but had to take a couple steps back with the full plate of goodness I am consuming at this time. So for now...back to our regularly scheduled program.

Dennis’ Surprise Proposal!
Thinking that Dennis’ friends wanted to embarrass him on his birthday, Darcie, along w/ friends and family, gathered around to watch a youtube video of Dennis dancing. Little did she know there was a twist… :)
This is the youtube video (by Peter Pheap) and the official proposal after the video ended. (Excuse the shakiness at the end. I was trying to hold back tears, but failed.)
So happy to be able to witness such an amazing day. Congratulations Darcie & Dennis! <3
From getting in trouble for talking on the phone during the wee hours of the night and sneaking back in the house from who knows where.. Thank you Dad, for being the greatest Dad always! “Aye Geeze..” Love you soo much ♥
